I'm really quite terrible at that sort of thing. I can't even truly answer what I would do if left to my own devices because I may well change my mind moments later.
And what is objectionable about being spontaneous? I have spent so much time with a regimented schedule, a little spontaneity sounds heavenly. And I have no agenda at all, except having fun and enjoying ourselves, so as long as we do that what's to worry about?
And I am accustomed to not doing it at all. If I may be candid, I asked you out in some part because I have the impression we share a common bond in that sort of thing -- being freed from the pressures of station by being here in the Far Shore.
The matter remains, though, that I will tend to choose something that I want to do in any given moment rather than find something that might be enjoyable for someone else.
Yet you do not strike me as somepony who would ignore me, were I to say that your choice of activity is not my cup of tea. So if that is true, and if you are willing to trust me to speak up...
If it helps, I am new to many things on the Near Shore even after my time here. And new to all of this in general. So you will have a hard time going wrong, I think. (Though food might be a given!)
