A question for you! Are you still up for trying all sorts of new things, being now freed from the burdens of title?

Well. If it is not too forward, I wonder if maybe you could be persuaded to show a mare a pleasant evening's entertainment at some point in the near future.

[This seems like something that ought to be asked in person, buuuut she figures it's so out of the blue from his perspective that she ought to make it easier for him to turn down.]

And why is that, if I might ask? I must admit I have very, very little experience in such matters myself...

And what is objectionable about being spontaneous? I have spent so much time with a regimented schedule, a little spontaneity sounds heavenly. And I have no agenda at all, except having fun and enjoying ourselves, so as long as we do that what's to worry about?

And I am accustomed to not doing it at all. If I may be candid, I asked you out in some part because I have the impression we share a common bond in that sort of thing -- being freed from the pressures of station by being here in the Far Shore.

Yet you do not strike me as somepony who would ignore me, were I to say that your choice of activity is not my cup of tea. So if that is true, and if you are willing to trust me to speak up...

If it helps, I am new to many things on the Near Shore even after my time here. And new to all of this in general. So you will have a hard time going wrong, I think. (Though food might be a given!)
